Lease Agreements
There are various different kinds of Real Estate Lease Agreements, each applicable to a specific Landlord-Tenant relationship.
While parties to a typical residential transaction often use a standard Residential Lease Agreement provided by their respective real estate agents, such boiler-plate agreements often fail to account for circumstances that may be unique to the parties’ relationship with each other, or for any additional understandings reached between the parties during their negotiations. Our real estate attorneys draft, review, and revise Residential Lease Agreements and provide our clients with the added assurance that the parties’ mutual understandings at the outset of their transaction is fully reflected in the Lease Agreements, and that the risk of litigation resulting from ambiguity, misunderstanding, or otherwise, is therefore minimal.
Similarly, in Commercial Leases, our real estate attorneys provide our clients with assistance in drafting, reviewing, revising, and negotiating terms in various commercial leases that are in our client’s best-interest, taking into the account the nature of our clients’ business, the underlying leased space, applicable zoning issues, and/or the type of Lease – office, retail, warehouse, mixed-use, etc.
