Child Support
The parental duty to support a child is an obligation under Arizona family law. Child support in Arizona is determined by using the Arizona Child Support Guidelines created by the Arizona Supreme Court. Child support is calculated using a formula which factors several considerations, including without limitation, existing custody arrangements, income of each party, payment of medical insurance, payment of daycare, parenting time and age of the child.
While Arizona divorce lawyers often address issues concerning child custody and support in the context of a divorce, the custody of a child may change over time, and may often result in corresponding changes in child support.
The child support lawyers at the Scottsdale law office of Bar Urness understand the unique circumstances which our clients often encounter following a family divorce, relative to matters concerning child custody and support, and accordingly assist our clients with establishing, enforcing, or modifying existing child support orders with our clients’ best interest in mind.
Please contact our Scottsdale divorce attorneys to schedule an initial consultation.
